The Bluebird Luggage Tag communicates via Bluetooth with your cell phone, telling you when your luggage is nearby.

The software running on the cell phone is true situational software — it tells you something about the situation you are in, i.e. waiting for your luggage at the airport carousel.

This obviously has lots of applications other than luggage tracking.
