Since we've been using the terms "situation" and "situational", we have been paying more attention to where those terms are used in everyday conversations. It is amazing how often that happens. It appears that people use the concept of a situation very frequently. Here are some overheard quotes:

• "My current financial situation does not allow me to do this."
• "Her situation is grave, the accident was a very bad one."
• "We will update you as soon as the situation changes." (This applies to traffic, to weather, to financial condition, and many others)
• "We've got a situation here."
• "Unless this situation changes, you will get no more support from me."

It's amazing that it took so long before this concept was translated into software. After all, if people think in terms of situations, why wouldn't it make sense that software support that?
