Rupnik and Krisper's paper
points out the difference between what they call "the classical mobile applications
model [that is] a pull application model, which means that its main characteristic is
that mobile application is run on the user's demand.", and contrast it with what
they call a "context-aware mobile application model" (we would call it a
situational model), in which "applications ... use context to provide relevant
information and/or services to the user, where relevancy depends on the user's task."
